Shadowing

Watch the "Shadowing" video below to learn the (somewhat challenging!) "shadowing" technique.

Select a short TED talk or podcast from Scientific American's "Science, Quickly" that you find interesting.

Apply the "shadowing" technique to your chosen talk (possibly changing the playback speed to a recommended custom speed of 0.80 or 0.85 that is usually a good combination of still-natural-sounding speech while also being slow enough to shadow easily 😉)
